Bio
I am an Assistant Professor and Specialist of Cooperative Extension in Regenerative Agriculture at UC ANR and UC Merced. I have a statewide responsibility for research and extension in regenerative agriculture and to make the access of regenerative agricultural tools and resources equitable for all grower communities. My areas of expertise are soil health, agricultural soil carbon sequestration, sustainable bioenergy cropping, agave cropping, regenerative cotton, food sovereignty, and multi-stakeholder dialogue processes. I have a PhD in Biological and Environmental Engineering (Soil Science concentration) from Cornell University and a Masters in Environmental Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
