Jezra Thompson is a California native with over seventeen years of experience developing sustainable programs that strengthen healthy schools, government agencies, and communities. Currently serving as Education Programs Director at the Berkeley Food Institute, Jezra champions workforce development and academic programs that extend educational opportunities both on and off campus. Her COAR role is focused on the Education Team's efforts to establish an equitable agroecological education and workforce development, creating pathways for students and professionals to drive sustainable agricultural transformation across diverse communities and ecosystems.
