I'm an Assistant Professor at UC Santa Cruz in the Environmental Studies Department. I examine how soil health practices influence underlying biogeochemical processes to promote multifunctionality in agroecosystems. I'm working with Prof Timothy Bowles at UC Berkeley on creating a cover cropping community of practice here on the Central Coast with farmers from Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties.
